A New Generation of Rolling Thunder

is a nonprofit organization that began in 1995. Members are united in an effort to bring attention to soldiers who are prisoners of war or missing in action. They are families and friends, comrades in arms, who want answers.

Annually on Memorial Day weekend, veterans and non-veterans gather together in Washington, D.C., to ride through the city to recognize those lost individuals and to support those still in harm’s way. They ride to remember and to remind.

All of the people featured in this video are part of , a group that commemorates all POWs and MIAs by traveling from California to Washington, D.C., picking up riders along their route. It’s a healing process as well for veterans and their families.
