How You Can Help Others in Your Community

Did you know that every day thousands of those 50+ - including AARP members – are discovering the best of what’s next in their lives by helping others in our communities?

For example, more than 100 AARP Missouri volunteers teach the AARP Driver Safety Program in towns and cities across the state. One volunteer said, “The older residents in our town are so appreciative of a program that sharpens their driving skills. It’s really rewarding knowing I’m making such a positive difference in their lives – and I’ve made a lot of new friends, too!”

The AARP Driver Safety Program is just one of the many ways AARP Missouri members volunteer to transform lives and strengthen our communities. Volunteers also help people stay healthy and active, or even prepare their tax returns for free through the AARP Tax-Aide Program, which is administered by AARP Foundation in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service.

By offering just a bit of your time to the AARP Driver Safety Program, you would be helping so many people stay independent and feel secure behind the wheel. That benefits everyone out there.

Put your experience and skills to good use, meet new people, and make a difference in lives in your community and across Missouri. Get involved and volunteer today for a variety of AARP opportunities. Together we can discover the best of what’s next. Call toll free 1.866.389.5627 or send an e-mail to .
