Our volunteer Area Coordinators and volunteer ambassadors statewide are ready to help you get involved. We currently have openings for Area Coordinators and ambassadors in the following areas: Weber/Morgan Counties, Utah County, and in the Wasatch Back (Summit and Wasatch Counties). We are also looking for additional coordinators or ambassadors to help in Grand, San Juan, Juab, and Millard Counties. The Driver Safety Program has four-hour classroom sessions in communities year-round, as well as online courses. Visit the for a class near you.
CarFit, a joint program of AARP, AAA, and The American Occupational Therapy Association, gives older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles "fit" them. A trained professional asks some simple questions; then completes a 12-point CarFit checklist. The entire process takes about 20 minutes. Tax Aide – From Feb. 1 through April 15, AARP Tax-Aide volunteers prepare federal and state tax returns for middle and low-income taxpayers, with special attention to people 60 and older. For more information about promoting a Tax-Aide site in your community or becoming a local AARP Tax-Aide volunteer in Utah, please email .
