New Speaker s Bureau Debuts in Oklahoma
That’s why we’re re-launching an all-new Speaker’s Bureau.
We’re assembling a group of volunteers who will speak to civic and community groups in your local towns and communities. We’re looking for energetic people who enjoy meeting new people. It’s fun work that’s also important.
Whether you have a little or a lot of time, we want to talk to you. Your level of involvement is up to you.
You’ll participate in regular phone calls and receive updated materials and talking points. We’ll train you on some effective speaking tips and teach you to identify the kind of groups that we’d like to reach in your own local community.
What kind of groups will you speak to?
Maybe the local chamber of commerce or a civic club, maybe your church group, maybe a social club, like a group of retirees. The possibilities are endless.
What kind of things will you speak about?
AARP programs like Create the Good, Driver Safety & AARP Foundation TaxAide; initiatives protecting Social Security and Medicare; and the mission of AARP.
