The AARP DC Executive Council (EC) is an excellent way for leaders who are age 50+ to use their talents and skills to help others.

Applications for AARP Executive Council positions are being accepted through September 21, 2012.

Working closely with the AARP District of Columbia State President and Senior State Director, Executive Council members help make life better for AARP members and other residents in DC. Regular briefings on AARP issues and activities are provided by the AARP DC staff and State President, and EC members are prepared to share AARP resources and positions on important issues with others in the community. Executive Council members have a great opportunity to strengthen relationships within their sphere of influence and to grow their network while representing AARP in the community.
