Advertisements from groups with names like American Patriots for a New Way cycle with alarming frequency and you wonder exactly who those groups might represent. It's American politics and the races are on.
AARP Voter Guides Designed To Increase Voter Engagement
In an effort to provide those 50+ with access to straightforward information about the candidates, AARP Nevada will be preparing online and print voter guides and sponsoring a number of events and activities throughout the state. All of our outreach is developed to provide voters with direct and factual information about the candidates and where they stand on issues that matter to older Nevadans.
We'll have voter guides that focus on the races for governor, all three U.S. House seats and one U.S. Senate seat. Gubernatorial candidates answered AARP's questions on issues ranging from state budget to consumer protections. In the Senate and House voter guides, candidates' on-the-record statements are being used to provide voters with information on each candidate's position on important national issues.
Debates Still Great Format To See Candidates In Action
