AARP Needs Your Voice at the Table

We’re asking people of all ages, in all parts of the country to take our on their perceptions regarding Social Security and Medicare. Why? Because in recent times the successful retirement security programs have come under attack as Congress looks for ways to trim Federal spending.

Get Involved by Volunteering br

In Nevada AARP member volunteers are fanning out across their communities with the survey – helping Nevadans to make their voices heard by talking about the issues with their neighbors and friends. From book clubs to opinion leader meetings; AARP Nevada volunteers are inviting Nevadans to speak up about the future of these two vital retirement security programs.

AARP volunteers are also distributing our questionnaires to libraries, senior centers, community centers and other locations. You can get involved as an AARP Nevada You’ve Earned a Say volunteer by emailing us at or calling 1-866-389-5652.

Conversations Ongoing in Communities throughout Nevada br

In May AARP Nevada engaged attendees at nearly a dozen local events, asking them to add their voices to the dialogue on Washington’s behind closed doors planning around the future of Social Security and Medicare.

On June 2, we’ll be at Feria Telemundo at the Neonopolis from 11 – 3, collecting You’ve Earned a Say surveys in Spanish and English. You’ll also be able to find additional Nevada events by visiting the website and looking for Nevada events.
