Seth Atkins, the character Richard Dreyfuss portrays in “The LightKeepers,” hates women. Intent on a desolate life as a light keeper on an outer beach of Cape Cod, things get complicated when Ruth Graham and her housekeeper, Mrs. Bascom (played by actress Blythe Danner) arrive for a summer sojourn.

Movies for Grownups host Bill Newcott speaks with stars of the film, who despite a true-life friendship of nearly 40 years, are appearing for the first time together onscreen in this mature love story.
