He was part of the stellar cast of 2015’s best-picture Oscar-winner Spotlight as Boston Globe editor Marty Baron. These days Schreiber is headlining Showtime’s Ray Donovan as a L.A.-based fixer-for-hire. The series wraps its fifth season on Oct. 29.

He’s the guy who can’t drive 55 — the Red Rocker. The entrepreneur, guitarist, and former Van Halen lead is still in high gear, touring on his “Rock & Roll Road Trip” (fodder for his TV series). A few years ago he released a unique cookbook, Are We Having Any Fun Yet? The Cooking & Partying Handbook.

Broadway was this Tony winner‘s first love, but the public fell for her as a widowed diner waitress on Alice from 1976 to 1985. She costars as a meddling mother of two grown sons (Elliott Gould is her husband) on a new CBS sitcom, 9JKL, premiering Oct. 2.

Weir has said, “What I like best about music is when time goes away.” And his band is timeless: After fellow Grateful Dead founder Jerry Garcia died in 1995, singer-guitarist Weir and other members have kept on truckin’ — carrying on the tradition of the granddaddy of all live jam bands.

The Queen of Rockabilly was once told by a male producer, “Girls don’t sell records.” But with her unique voice, flashy fashion sense and support from onetime beau Elvis Presley, she would rack up numerous pop and country hits, including 1959’s "Let’s Have a Party." Her autobiography, Every Night Is Saturday Night, will be available Nov. 14.

The actor who won an Oscar as the wacky diamond thief in 1988’s A Fish Called Wanda played Emma Watson’s inventor-father Maurice in this year’s live-action version of Beauty and the Beast — 2017’s top-grossing movie so far. He’s said, “I never wanted to do stupid movies. I wanted to do films.”

The Australian country star once struggled with addiction, but was “reborn,” he’s said, after marrying Nicole Kidman in 2006 (he’s called her his “once-in-a-lifetime love”). Urban scored one of his biggest hits ever last year, "Blue Ain’t Your Color."

Clinton has been in the public eye for decades, with every word (and hairstyle) scrutinized. “I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public,” she writes in her new book, What Happened, about her loss in last year’s presidential election. “Now I’m letting my guard down.”

Oct 28 Julia Roberts 50

The actress shot to superstardom as a hooker with a heart of gold in 1990’s Pretty Woman and won an Oscar as a real-life eco-activist in 2000’s Erin Brockovich. Now Roberts is set to play a mom to a boy with a disfigured face (Jacob Tremblay of Room) in Wonder, out Nov. 17.

Oct 29 Richard Dreyfuss 70

Dreyfuss was ubiquitous on the big screen in the 1970s and '80s. One of Steven Spielberg’s favorite actors, he played in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, American Graffiti, Jaws and The Goodbye Girl. Last year he starred as Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff in the ABC miniseries Madoff.
