AARP TV program garners nomination in Outstanding Lifestyle Program category

AARP’s has received its first nomination from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for a Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. The series is nominated in the category Outstanding Lifestyle Program. The awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the 2010 calendar year. My Generation is in distinguished company. Also nominated for Outstanding Lifestyle Program are: How Do I Look? (Style Network) The Martha Stewart Show (Hallmark Channel) The Nate Berkus Show (syndicated) The Daytime Emmy Awards show will be televised on June 19, 2011, on CBS.
