"" – AARP's national conversation about Medicare and Social Security – will hit millions of homes in rural American via ‘AARP Live’ programming on RFD-TV. Through Sept., for a total of 6 shows, ‘AARP Live’ will air on the RFD-TV network at 9pm Central/8pm Mountain the third Thursday of each month.
The show is moderated by RFD-TV host Mark Oppold, and each month will feature representatives and volunteers from several states, including our very own state director Sarah Jennings. Shows will highlight You’ve Earned a Say, AARP’s national on Medicare and Social Security.
You’ve Earned a Say is aimed at taking the discussion about the future of Medicare and Social Security out from behind closed doors in Washington, D.C. During AARP Live, the AARP panel will answer questions from callers, and address comments from Facebook and Twitter on the future of Social Security. You can join the conversation by calling the show live between 9 & 10 PM CDT 1-877-731-6733 or posting your comments and questions on our facebook page.
