Hamilton

Nearly a year after winning 11 Tony awards, and still the most-coveted ticket on Broadway, Hamilton begins a U.S. tour opening in San Francisco on March 10. Those tickets were snatched up fast, but the rest of the West and East Coast legs are not on sale yet. Don’t throw away your shot at a ticket:

Hello Dolly

The Divine Ms. M, Bette Midler, is back where she belongs — on Broadway, as irrepressible matchmaker Dolly Levi in the revival of Hello, Dolly! Joining her is David Hyde Pierce as Horace Vandergelder. First-day ticket sales (more than $9 million!) set a Broadway box-office record. Get ’em while they’re hot. (Broadway previews begin March 15.)

Beauty and the Beast

Twenty-five years after Disney’s animated wonder, a live-action remake hits theaters with Harry Potter’s Emma Watson as a decidedly more feminist Bella. Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens gives voice to the CGI-assisted Beast. (In theaters March 17)

Shots Fired

Helen Hunt returns to TV in a ripped-from-the-headlines drama about the impact two racially charged shootings have on a small North Carolina town. The A-list cast includes Richard Dreyfuss. (The 10-part Fox series premieres March 22.)

The Zookeeper s Wife

Diane Ackerman’s 2007 book, The Zookeeper’s Wife, is finally coming to the big screen. Jessica Chastain and Johan Heldenbergh star in the true story of a Warsaw, Poland, couple who hid fugitive Jews within the walls of their zoo, protecting them from Nazi occupiers during World War II. Bring tons of tissues. (In theaters March 31)

Genius

Two sides of Albert Einstein — the brainy and the bawdy — come vividly to life in National Geographic’s Genius. Aussie Oscar winner Geoffrey Rush captures the older Einstein so perfectly that you’ll swear the great physicist is relating his famous “thought experiments” to you alone. (The 10-part series premieres April 25.)

Option B

Lean In evangelist Sheryl Sandberg, who unexpectedly lost her husband in 2015, releases her guide to overcoming pain and grief. Written with Wharton School of Business professor Adam Grant, Option B combines Sandberg’s personal story with Grant’s research into the human ability to cope. (On sale April 28.)

Into the Water

The Girl on the Train author Paula Hawkins is back with another psychological thriller. Set in the north of England, Into the Water tells how and why two young women end up dead in the bottom of a river. Secrets and suspense abound. (On sale May 2.)

Pollinator

Lead singer and punk icon Debbie Harry, 71, still buzzes with sexuality on Blondie’s 11th studio album, featuring a disco-meets-new-wave sound. Joan Jett and Laurie Anderson provide guest vocals. (Due out May 5.)

The Joshua Tree Tour

To mark The Joshua Tree’s 30th anniversary, U2 vows to play every song from the album at every show. Starting May 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Bono and crew will tour stadiums across North America and Europe — with or without you. Make it with.
