Huffman isn’t known for her singing — she was last heard at the 2012 Golden Globes, crooning along with her husband, William H. Macy, while presenting an award — but she more than holds her own with Short, a Broadway legend and one of the most energetic performers in show business.
“It took me a while to learn that song,” she recalls. “I worked on it and worked on it, and finally said, ‘OK, I think I’m ready. I think I am…’ Then Martin came into the studio and went, ‘What’s the song? How does it go?’ And within three minutes he was singing it.”
Then the Emmy winner and Oscar nominee added: “‘I wish I was talented like that!’” The PSA was produced by Stand Up To Cancer and Rally Health.
