Driver Crosses ' Get Arrested' Off Bucket List

Most people probably wouldn’t recommend this for your list, though: A Des Moines, Iowa, man was arrested this month after he led state troopers on a short car chase. Scott Bright told KCCI-TV in Des Moines. Things may be a little more complicated than that: State police told the station the driver, Frederick Ray Jones, 46, of Des Moines, also was using a driver’s license and car that did not belong to him. The man was charged with numerous traffic offenses, eluding a law enforcement officer and a parole violation. This is not the first “bucket list” claim from someone who wanted to be arrested. Earlier this month, 102-year-old Edie Simms of St. Louis was put in a police car and handcuffed — at her request. She told KTVI-TV in St. Louis she had never been in a police car until that day.
