Tax-Aide, in its 44th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention to people over age 60. Tax-Aide helps taxpayers with low to moderate income. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service.

More than 35,000 Tax-Aide volunteers, trained in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service, helped over 2.6 million taxpayers at nearly 6,500 sites across the country with the preparation of their income tax returns in 2010.
Last year, with the help of Tax-Aide, Oklahoma clients received $17.7 million in tax refunds and low-income workers received $3.6 million in earned income tax credits according to AARP Foundation.
AARP Tax-Aide volunteers helped more than 36,000 people file their federal and state tax returns in 2010. The program is offered at approximately 64 sites in Oklahoma including senior centers, libraries and other convenient locations.
