AARP South Dakota believes everyone should have peace of mind about their financial future. That's why we're committed to helping educate the 50+ community including our members on how to best protect their nest eggs.

Join us Aug. 25 at the Minerva’s in Yankton for a "lunch and learn" session on "The Lure of Money". This presentation is an overview of the deceptive tactics used in ponzi schemes, promissory notes, viaticals, variable annuities and affinity fraud. Real cases will be highlighted and followed by tips on what to do if this happens to you.

Lunch will be provided by AARP. Registration is required to attend this session. Call toll free-1-877-926-8300.

The lunch and presentation starts at 12:15 p.m., but join us a bit earlier for an "open house" starting at 11 a.m. Information will be available on the new health care law, Create The Good, and other AARP efforts including Driver Safety, and other exciting things happening with AARP South Dakota. Registration is not required for the open house.
