The AARP Public Policy Institute (PPI) regularly sponsors Solutions Forums to highlight options for addressing public issues of significant concern to AARP and its members.
At this forum, on July 23, 2012, PPI Senior Strategic Policy Advisor Lori Trawinski discussed the findings of her recently released report, The Foreclosure Crisis, Ending the Nightmare for Older Americans. This study shows more than 1.5 million older Americans have lost their homes since 2007 and millions more remain at risk.
A panel of experts, moderated by journalist Jane Bryant Quinn, discussed detailed findings of the report and potential solutions for older Americans. The panel included: Janis Bowdler
