YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Celebrity The adorable nickname the Duchess of Cambridge calls Princess Charlotte has been revealed By You Magazine - December 24, 2018 Many of us have cute nicknames for our loved ones – especially when there are children in the family. But ever wondered what terms of endearment the Duchess of Cambridge calls her children? Well, all has been revealed, and yes, it is adorable. Kate Middleton was recently spotted during an outing at discount shop, The Range, with both her eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Lucky for us, a fellow shopper caught a glimpse of the royal family and even witnessed a moment where little Princess Charlotte was sat on the floor in the shop – prompting the Duchess to tell her: ‘Get up, poppet.’ This isn’t the first time we’ve heard the Cambridges call one another ‘poppet’, the sweet term seems to be a popular one among the family as it is not only the favoured term of endearment for the eldest child, Prince George, but it is also known that Prince William refers to his wife as poppet too. We, know. Our hearts are melting too. Sarah Daniels, the onlooker who spotted the family, told The Daily Mail: ‘As I was looking at the shelves I noticed a tall dark-haired lady further down the aisle and thought to myself ‘I recognise that face’. Then I heard George say ‘Charlotte, pick that up’ and the penny suddenly dropped as to who they were. It seemed like a lovely family outing for them the day before Christmas Eve’ Like every year, the Cambridge family will be spending Christmas with their royal relatives at at Sandringham House in Norfolk. As you can expect, royal festivities are full of strict traditions that the family abide by each year. But this year, the Queen’s former chef Darren McGrady revealed exactly what the royal family do on Christmas Day. As you can expect, its a jam packed day which involves a visit to the church and of course, watching the Queen’s annual Christmas speech.
