The pair made it into the magazine’s famous Top 100 Influential List for their charity work and newly founded Archewell Foundation. But, as well as their good work, inevitably, everyone has also been talking about the outfits they were wearing for the cover shoot – specifically those of the Duchess of Sussex. Megan Markle donned a crisp, white shirt for the cover as well as some smooth, white, wide-leg trousers. For the photo inside, she wore a similar pair of khaki wide leg trousers and a roll neck from The Row. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Pari Dukovic (@paridukovic) Apparently, the ‘Meghan Effect’ is well and truly alive, and the result was instant: since the pictures from Meghan Markle’s TIME cover have been circulating on the internet, sales of wide leg trousers jumped up by 83 per cent overnight, while searches for green turtleneck jumpers also shot up by 148 per cent too. The wide legged trouser trend is a bit of a staple for Meghan Markle and it’s definitely not the first time she’s chosen the style; she wore some on a royal visit to Edinburgh in 2018.
