Not only has budget airline easyJet announced a pre-Christmas sale, but its in-flight magazine has just named its 12 best travel experiences of 2018 – one of which names the hotel with the best pool view in the world. The Miramonti Boutique Hotel in Italy has officially been crowned owner of the best pool view by editors and regular contributors of the travel magazine. Situated deep in the mountains, the luxury hotel’s salt-water infinity pool hangs over the town of Merano and offers swimmers a breath-taking view. The Miramonti Boutique Hotel Founded and run by husband and wife duo Carmen Kruselburger and Klaus Albert, the resort has been described as ‘an alpine hideaway, that bewitches immediately. Far away from everyday life. Very close to nature.’ In fact, it’s so glamorous that some scenes from the Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me, were filmed here. The pool itself is 16 metres long and five metres wide and has been described to be ‘like a warm cave that leads you to the stunning scenery in all four seasons.’ Sounds like heaven if you ask us!
