Here’s the perfect affordable outfit inspiration, courtesy of the lovely Lorraine Kelly. It can’t be an easy job looking camera-ready all year round, but Lorraine, 59, makes it look effortless, particularly when it comes to seasonal dressing at Christmas. Most recently, she’s won the praise of viewers for an outfit centred around a shiny silver skirt, which is priced at a very purse-friendly £18. Rex Features The fitted pencil skirt is from trend-led American fashion label Forever 21, and features a simple, off-centre slit detail and a raw-cut hem. For those who prefer a more neutral colour palette, it also comes in a camel colour. Lorraine dressed her skirt up with an embellished jumper from Wallis and a pair of pointed silver heels from Dune, and the result is a look we can’t wait to copy for the party season ahead.
