Getty Images The scheme begins Monday 3 August, but how can we all take advantage of the discounts that will be on offer throughout the month (and get back to taking those all important food pics for the ‘gram)? What is the Eat Out to Help Out scheme If you eat in at any participating restaurants between 3-31 August on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, you’ll receive 50 per cent off all food and non-alcoholic drinks, up to a maximum value of £10 per diner. There’s no limit on how many times you use the scheme and the best part is you don’t need to print off a voucher or prove anything to claim the discount, it will simply be added to you bill (and it can even be used in conjunction with other discounts and offers, such as the discount many chain cafes offer for using your own reusable cup). Getty Images Both chain and independent restaurants can take part, meaning there are lots of discounts to be had this month. You can use the online tool to find participating independent restaurants local to you, but below we’ve rounded up all of the most popular chain restaurants that are taking part in the scheme. Just bear in mind that it’s worth calling ahead to the specific restaurant location you’re visiting as they may not be running the scheme in all of their locations.
