H&M has also become known for its slightly more ‘elevated’ pieces as part of its Studio collection — and the new AW21 collection launches today. If we were going to describe the new pieces in one word, it would certainly be BOLD. From vibrant hues to quirky silhouettes, this line is ideal if you want to stand out in all the best ways. However, pick the collection apart and there are some very wearable pieces in there that would fit right into your wardrobe, such as the pinstripe trousers and chunky boots. H&M Speaking about the collection, Linda Wikell, Concept Designer for H&M Studio, said: ‘We were inspired by modern women who can command power in any situation, whether they’re wearing a pinstriped suit or lace underwear.’ ‘We wanted to create versatile designs that you can style to suit your mood, but that always hit you in the solar plexus – these are statement-making designs for confident women,’ she continued. ‘It feels like the right time for a strong Studio collection designed to make you feel like a queen,’ added Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at H&M. ‘Comfort is still key, but we’ve amped up the attitude with empowering pieces in ultra-comfortable fabrics to make you look and feel confident.’ As mentioned, the pieces are out on Thursday, available online at H&M.
