From her £15 Orelia earrings to M&S trainers that cost less than £30, Kate Middleton has proved she has a good eye for a high street hit. This was easy to see when the Duchess shared a photo of herself receiving her COVID vaccination in an entirely high-street get-up. Kate Middleton received her COVID vaccine at the Science Museum in London on 28 May. Sharing the news on Instagram, she wrote: ‘Yesterday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at London’s Science Museum. I’m hugely grateful to everyone who is playing a part in the rollout – thank you for everything you are doing.’ View this post on Instagram A post shared by Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (@dukeandduchessofcambridge) Kate’s off-duty style consisted of a £24 H&M ribbed white top and a pair of £65 jeans from & Other Stories. Known for re-wearing clothes and jewellery on multiple occasions, it comes as no surprise to learn the Duchess has actually worn that H&M top before. She first donned the ribbed knit under a navy blazer while visiting Cornwall in 2016. Kate wore the top again that same year, with a white blazer and black jeans during a visit to Canada. Clearly, Kate is a fan of holding onto her clothes and reworking them years later. And what better than a short, off the shoulder cap sleeve to get your jab? It allowed the Duchess to get her vaccination without having to roll up a sleeve, like her husband Prince William did when he received his just 10 days prior. Prince William and Kate in Cornwall. Image: Getty Unlike other events where we’ve seen Kate in public, she didn’t match her face mask to her outfit. Instead, this time she wore a standard blue medical face mask. When the Duchess shared her Covid vaccine news, one fan with a serious Kate Middleton style crush wrote: ‘Okay but where are your jeans from’. Turns out, the light blue jeans Kate wore are from & Other Stories. Favourite Cut Jeans, £65, & Other Stories The light blue shade is back in stock in almost all sizes, but the mid-blue shade is currently running low, so it’s best to snap them up before they’re gone. Getty Images Kate wore the jeans again in summer during a visit to the National History Museum and so it’s only a matter of time before the ‘Kate Middleton effect’ takes place and the stock sells out entirely, again. This isn’t the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has favoured the retailer, having worn £17 & Other Stories earrings just last month during a visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
