As her fiancé is Italian, there was speculation that the royal may choose to have her nuptials abroad, but speaking to Press Association on Monday, her mother, Sarah, the Duchess of York, revealed that her daughter will tie the knot at home. ‘It can only be Britain,’ she confirmed to PA while walking the red carpet at the British Film Institute Luminous Gala. Getty Images Of her future son-in-law, the Duchess added: ‘Edo, I’ve known him all my life. His brother is my godson. I forgot to tell you that. Alby is my godson and I’m so proud. I’ve known Edo since he was four, and he’s got a lovely mum, Nikki. It’s really, really good news. I’m really, really proud of them both.’ Her reveal about the location of the wedding also puts an end to rumours that the Queen, Beatrice’s grandmother, might not be able to attend the big day. Getty Images This means we have another royal wedding in the UK to look forward too, just under a year after Beatrice’s younger sister Eugenie said ‘I do’ to Jack Brooksbank in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle – the same location where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married in May of the same year.
