YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Food Gordon’ s is giving away free G& T’ s if your train is delayed By You Magazine - May 9, 2019 Train delays can be extremely frustrating and terribly inconvenient, especially during busy travel periods such as school half-terms and bank holiday weekends when there are even more people rushing around the major stations. Getty Images So, to make the entire experience a little more bearable, Gordon’s is offering a free gin and tonic to any customers who are faced with a train that is running late. Hurrah! The gin brand is reintroducing its campaign titled #YayDelays for a second year running, offering two for one gin and tonics for those suffering form a delayed train across the country. The offer can be redeemed at Stonegate Pubs, including Slug & Lettuce, Yates, Proper Pubs and Walkabout outlets in England and Wales. To get your hands on the two for one deal, all you have to do is unlock the discount code by doing what you’d probably be doing in that situation anyway – getting your phone out and tweeting about how frustrating it is that your journey has been delayed due to your train. When enough people have tweeted, using the official hashtag #YayDelays, Gordon will recognise the delay and offer all passengers who have been affected the cheery discount by announcing it on the Gordon’s UK social channels. When life gives you lemons, have a G&T. If you're caught up in train delay chaos this Bank Holiday, keep an eye on our channels for the chance to claim 2 for 1 on a Gordon's and tonic ? ?? #YayDelay #GinTonicTime #ShallWe? #BankHoliday Terms apply: https://t.co/TjKvN5dUI4 pic.twitter.com/Kt9l3HAzN2 - Gordon's Gin (@GordonsGinUK) May 3, 2019 Announcing the news on their Twitter page last week, Gordon’s wrote: ‘When life gives you lemons, have a G&T.
