YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Celebrity Did Caroline Flack just reveal the Love Island start date for 2019 By You Magazine - May 3, 2019 Summer is right around the corner which means it’s almost that time of the year again. That’s right, Love Island season is fast approaching – faster than you may think according to the show’s host Caroline Flack. Rex Features You may still be finishing off the remainders of your Easter eggs but Caroline, and the yet to be announced line-up of new contestants, have been working hard to get in tip top shape before heading to sunny Majorca for the 2019 instalment of ITV2’s hit dating show. In fact, the presenter and former YOU cover star, recently took to her Instagram stories to remind fans that Love Island is almost here as she shared a snap of herself standing in front of a green screen captioning it ‘coming soon @loveisland’. But she didn’t leave it at that. The 39-year-old star then revealed that she would be flying out to Spain for the show in just three weeks while shouting out her personal trainer, Bradley Simmons, meaning the countdown is officially on. Speaking to her 1.9 million followers, Caroline said: ‘I have just trained with Bradley Simmons and he put me through utter hell. Making me do weights that I should not be lifting but he says we only have three weeks before Love Island starts or for Love Island prep, so we’ve got to work hard.’ She continued: ‘To be fair I feel more sorry for Bradley having to put up with my moaning than me having to put up with the training.’ View this post on Instagram A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) So there you have it, it looks like we can expect the nation’s favourite TV show to return to our screens in less than a month, although ITV has yet to confirm an official launch date for the new series. However, thanks to Caroline we do know that this year’s contestants have already been picked and filming has kicked off as the presenter let it slip in yet another Instagram story back in April. ‘That’s really exciting about this week is that we start filming for Love Island 2019,’ she said while on her way to the gym. ‘And by the end of the week I’m going to potentially have seen the cast for this year which is really exciting – and mad that it’s come around this fast.
