YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Celebrity Baby Sussex’ s first royal tour has already been planned apparently By You Magazine - April 30, 2019 Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first baby has not even been born yet but they may have already been assigned some important royal duties to carry out when they are just six months old. Reports claim that the Duke and Duchess are hoping to bring their newborn along with them to Africa on a royal tour later this year. Getty Images The Sunday Times revealed details of the proposed tour, requested by the government, which will be covering youth empowerment, education, and conservation. The trip is expected to last two weeks in October when the baby is around six months old. ‘They hope to take the baby with them but will make a decision nearer the time,’ a source told The Times. ‘Potentially, Meghan and the baby could do some, if not all, of the trip.’ If the couple chooses to bring their baby on their tour, he or she will be one of the youngest royals to ever do so. Prince George was only eight months old when he accompanied his parents Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to Australia and New Zealand in 2014. Getty Images Earlier this month Harry and Meghan confirmed that details around the birth of their child will initially remain very private. ‘The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family,’ the royals explained in a statement released to press. It’s thought that the Duke and Duchess may even announce the happy news of their new arrival on the Sussex Royal Instagram account, which made history when it was first launched. Guinness World Records confirmed that the couple’s account had accumulated one million followers in five hours and 45 making it the first to reach this milestone – and they’ve now got a staggering 5.4 million (and counting!)
