And following suit, it seems ‘bad habit’ are on her mind as she just revealed what she believes is her husband, Prince William’s worst. Yesterday saw festivities at Kensington Palace, where Kate and William hosted a joyous Christmas party for the families of servicemen and women from RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham who are currently deployed in Cyprus. The royal couple flew out to Cyprus to meet those living at the RAF Akrotiri base, handing out gifts to the military personnel from some of the families they’d met the day before. Their whirlwind trip to Cyprus was organised with the purpose of celebrating the British forces and personally thanking them for the sacrifices they make year round and especially over the Christmas period. With thousands of servicemen and women separated from their families it was very touching that the royal couple flew out to the Mediterranean island to thank them personally for their ongoing commitment. REX Commemorating their visit with the opening of a new recreation centre for those stationed at the RAF Akrotiri base to enjoy, Kate cut into a beautifully decorated three-tier cake. With the royal couple being take on a tour of the new facilities and, it turns out that Prince William’s never been more relatable. The interior design of the recreational centre is based around several happy yellow sofas which, rather surprisingly reminded Prince William of his own settee at Kensington Palace. A playful way to add a pop of colour into your home a yellow sofa is an easy way to add some instant sunshine. Our Interiors Editor Nicole Gray recommends adding ‘sweet but not too sugary, sorbet shades as they lend a cool, calm feel to your living space.’ The happy hue of the sofas prompted the Prince to jokingly comment to the servicemen to remember to ‘keep the pizza off the sofas!’ To which Kate retorted, ‘oh you’re a nightmare with that!’ Yes, William might be a Prince and the future King of England, but he’s really just like us – enjoying pizza nights on the sofa, getting scolded by his other half.
