Desperados hosted a bunch of parties throughout the year all over Europe, and got party goers to tell them what their favourite parts were, or what they should’ve done to make it better. Then they took all this info and made this ultimate house party. There was a an Octopus bartender I m not even joking Ada Enechi / BuzzFeed The worst thing at parties or bars is queueing for drink – by the time you get served you could’ve written the next Fast And Furious. The octopus bartender is supposed to make getting drinks fast and fun. I don’t know who came up with this idea but it tickled me all night and it worked like a charm. I'm not saying all clubs/bars should have this but they should at least try. I partied with someones grandma Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF Ada Enechi / BuzzFeed This was a super cute idea. You know when you go to your mates house party, and their family is still in the house and you end up getting drunk with Grandma Sheila on sherry. Well, Desperados made that possible by having grannies for bouncers, and they were having the time of their lives. Like, those old women were getting down – my knees could never. We could finally be the centre of attention Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF Ada Enechi / BuzzFeed In all honesty I hate being the centre of attention (most times) but this time I wanted all of it. Desperados turned you into the disco ball in the middle of the dance floor. Literally in the air, spinning around like a Christmas bauble. Who comes up with stuff?! We felt like a prop in a John Lewis Christmas advert and I didn't know how much I needed that feeling until I was up there. You got to really feel the music Desparados I loved this concept and it was an idea from Hermon and Heroda, who are a pair of deaf twins. Everyone loves a good time, but partying when you're deaf is a whole different experience because you can’t enjoy the music the same way as everyone else. So the twins teamed up and got these custom haptic jackets built so they could LITERALLY feel the music, which is dope! You are so much more of the party when you can feel it all over your body. I could actually see the stage Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF Ada Enechi / BuzzFeed I'm not a short person, I'm 5'7", but sometimes even I have trouble seeing the stage. So whoever came up with the idea to have a bungee/trampoline situation in the middle of the dancefloor so you could finally see all the action is my hero. Overall I would say they weren t lying when they named it an epic house party Desperados However, if I'm being realistic I'd need to be a billionaire to host all this in my own house, but it was still an amazing party.
