Fairytale of New York by the Pogues was crowned the greatest Christmas tune in the research, which was conducted by Magic Radio. The Pogues’ iconic song, featuring Kirsty MacColl, ranked above Ms Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You and Wham’s Last Christmas, as well as other classic festive hits. Also featured in the line-up are Slade’s Merry Christmas Everybody, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday by Wizzard and Paul McCartney’s Wonderful Christmastime.
