Sometimes it’s a must-have midi dress, other times it’s a coat that’s ideal for adding to a capsule wardrobe – and this time? It’s a flattering faux leather skirt that’s available in a rainbow of gorgeous colours. The item has been flying off the virtual shelves since it landed on the brand’s website, with some sizes already marked as out of stock. And now its popularity is only set to surge even further, as it’s been modelled by none other than the lovely Lorraine Kelly. Rex Features The skirt is actually from fellow presenter Holly Willoughby’s latest edit from the store, with Holly herself saying: ‘Pleated skirts are so on trend, and this is one you can wear to work and through party season.’ Lorraine clearly agrees, styling hers with a statement knit from Zara and one of her go-to wardrobe staples – a pair of black high-heeled pointed-toe shoes. The outfit certainly won her plenty of compliments from her Instagram followers, with one writing: ‘The pleated skirt looks lovely on Lorraine.’ ‘Loving the pleated dress ?’, another commenter agreed. Reviewers who’ve already snapped it up have given it a number of five-star reviews. ‘Wore this with a tight polar neck and short leather jacket, had lots of comments saying how nice it was. So pleased with the fit and the pleats stayed in place all night,’ posted one. A second dubbed it their ‘favourite item of the year’, while a third wrote: ‘Bought in green, tempted by the purple one too.
