Its dupes of bestselling brands – from a toner that’s strikingly similar to Pixi’s Glow Tonic to notably Jo Malone-esque candles – have provided shoppers with an affordable way to get their product fix for years. And now that Christmas is almost here? The budget supermarket has got an extra special treat in store. To mark the festive season, Aldi has announced the arrival of its brand new ‘pamper hampers’ – wicker baskets that come complete with a luxury candle, reed diffuser, hand wash, body lotion, and to top it all off in a fabulous fashion, a bottle of Prosecco. It’s essentially everything you could ever want to treat yourself to in one package, at a surprisingly low price. There’s two scent options to choose between – No 1 Lime, Basil & Mandarin or Luxury Collection No 3 Pomegranate; both of which are as deliciously vibrant and fresh as each other. And as if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get a bottle of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, which is ‘fruity and flowery with overtones of golden apple and very slight overtones of yeast.’ Yum. Aldi describes the packages as ‘a treat for all the senses’, and ‘the perfect indulgence to pamper someone special with this Christmas’ – and we have to say, looking at what’s included for the price, we agree.
