Chris O’Donovan Chris O’Donovan I adore crafting: I often say, ‘I’m crafty,’ and people give me funny looks. I’ve made loads of glitter-art canvases for people, and I put this pompom wreath on my door every Christmas. If I wasn’t doing music, I’d spend hours and hours making things. Chris O’Donovan During our Summer of Steps tour this year, Faye [Tozer, Steps bandmate] and I became obsessed with Maria Tash jewellery such as these arrow and hoop designs. We had extra piercings and bought her earrings just before our Greenwich show. Chris O’Donovan My paternal granddad gave me this teddy, Honey Bear, the day I was born. Now my eight-year-old daughter Daisy sleeps with him. My granddad died when I was 15. He was very strict and this was the one thing he did that was warm and fuzzy. Chris O’Donovan If I were to wear one thing from my wardrobe for the rest of my life, it would be this skirt from Coast. The minute I saw it I fell in love with it. I wore it in the Steps video for ‘Story of a Heart’ last year, then to my husband’s 50th birthday party. It looks amazing on. Chris O’Donovan There’s something magical about unicorns. My son Charlie, who’s 11, gave me this pink one for Mother’s Day, my mum bought me the one on the left and I bought the sparkly Christmas decoration. I’ve also got a giant unicorn on the wall in my office. Chris O’Donovan These pink Prada heels are nearly 20 years old – they were the first designer shoes that I bought. I wore them to the 1999 MTV Awards in Dublin with Steps. It was our first big music ceremony and we presented an award. Chris O’Donovan There’s something magical about unicorns. I used to alternate perfumes but now I like to wear just one and this is the scent that has stuck with me. People always stop me to ask what it is. I like the look of the bottle, too.
