There are the leaves beginning to crisp under your feet, that distinct chill in the air that means a light jacket is suddenly required and oh, the return of Starbucks’ iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte. So buckle up, because the latter will be happening in a number of days, welcoming in the new season in typical delicious Starbucks fashion. Starbucks That’s right; the iconic Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte (otherwise known as the PSL) is making a return this week, on September 2nd (Thursday). Signalling the start of Autumn, this is a memorable day for fans of the season who can’t get enough of the drink. If you need a refresher, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is a combination of the coffee chain’s espresso roast with pumpkin pie flavoured sauce and steamed milk, along with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves) on top. Just talking about it makes our mouths water! Starbucks The PSL is one of the best U.S. imports here on British shores and has been on the chain’s menu for a staggering 18 years now, making it a firm favourite in both countries. Starbucks This year, the drink is back and better than ever too; as well as the original Pumpkin Spice Latte, you can get it in Frappuccino form, as well as in a vegan blend with a vegan whip on top. You can also ask for it with Starbucks’ Original Nut Blend this year, and even enjoy it alongside a Pumpkin Spice Cookie, which is brand new to the baked goods menu. The drink starts at £3.55 and will be available from 2 September. This is a limited edition addition to the Starbucks menu, so it’s worth enjoying as many as you can while it’s still around. Next thing we know, it’ll be time for the Starbucks Christmas menu, which features the iconic red cups. This year truly has flown by!
