Whether you’re celebrating with friends, family or colleagues, December is the perfect month to dress up in something with a little more sparkle than your usual day-to-day attire. And if you’re looking for a festive outfit with some serious ‘wow’ factor, Next have just the thing. While shoppers were impressed with the overall outfit, one item in particular garnered the most compliments by far. ‘Oh my gosh I need this skirt!!!’ one follower exclaimed, while a second posted: ‘This skirt is gorg! Love the colour.’ A third customer who had already managed to snap the garment up dubbed it ‘the skirt of dreams’ – and with a hue, texture and most importantly, price tag like this, we can’t disagree. Next Teal velvet pleated skirt, £40, Next The £40 teal velvet pleated skirt (which also comes in grey for the colour shy, FYI) could not feel more Christmassy. As Next proved, it can be made more casual with sweaters and boots, but if you ask us, something with this much razzle dazzle deserves an all-out party look – think statement earrings, an equally glitzy blouse, and your favourite heels. It’s currently available on the store’s website in sizes 6-20 (with the 22 showing as sold out, but offering the option of trying Next’s Collect Today service).
