And what better time to indulge in it than during the festive season? Luckily, our go-to budget supermarket Aldi is back with it’s mouth-watering selection of alcohol-infused food for Christmas, and this year it’s even more impressive. Aldi Offering everything from a whisky infused smoked salmon starter to espresso martini ice cream for dessert, the new range will make sure your Christmas dinner party is done in style. Or at least put the ‘party’ element into it. Think salmon topped with lemon and herb and lightly smoked with prosecco, cranberry and orange for just £10.99 or an all butter sloe gin mince tart for the humble price of £2.49. Ah, it feels like Christmas already. Here’s everything you can expect to see (as well as when they’re available) in Aldi’s new boozy food range, including all of the above. Aldi Specially Selected Topped Side of Salmon – on sale now, £10.99 (700g) Smoked Salmon in Whisky – on sale 19th December, £3.99 (100g) Specially Selected All Butter Sloe Gin Mince Tarts – on sale from 1st November, £2.49 (6 pack) Specially Selected Gourmet Marshmallows with Prosecco & Raspberry, Gin & Rhubarb or Espresso Martini – on sale from 1st November, £2.49 (100g) Aldi Moser Roth Gin/Whisky Collection – on sale from 1st November, £2.99 (142g/140g) Specially Selected Salted Caramel Vodka Pudding – on sale from 1st November £6.99 (750g) Specially Selected Premium Cheese Truckle (Wensleydale with Cranberry & Sloe Gin, Rum, Wensleydale with Raisin & Salted Caramel Fudge or Mature Cheddar with Whisky) – on sale 30th November, £3.59 (200g) The supermarket first launched its Specially Selected boozy Christmas food range last year. At the time, Julie Ashfield, joint managing director of corporate buying at Aldi UK, said: ‘At Aldi, we pride ourselves on offering our customers the most exciting foods – not only at Christmas, but all year round.’ ‘We know how popular trends are to customers, and we are confident that our latest range of alcohol-infused creations will prove a big hit over the festive period.’ Looks like it’s set to be yet another big hit for the supermarket.
