Her latest outfit, a floaty denim dress that would suit all shapes and sizes, is no exception, and the good news is, it’s a fabulous high-street find – meaning that it won’t cost you a fortune to copy Lorraine’s look. Rex Features The Angelica dress comes in two shades of blue (denim and dark wash), and retails for £55 from Oasis. Lorraine paired hers with a pair of nude heels from Office. With feminine angel sleeves, a flattering v neckline and cinching waist tie, the dress has proved popular with shoppers already, selling out online in several sizes. However, if you’re out of luck on the Oasis website, it’s worth noting that the brand is also stocked at Next and John Lewis, so keep your eyes peeled for the frock the next time you’re in store. Speaking to YOU earlier this year, 58-year-old Lorraine explained how her style has evolved over the years, calling herself a ‘late bloomer’ and admitting: ‘I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen old photos and had to apologise for my hideous hairdo and the fact I look like I dressed from the washing basket.’ Oasis Angelica dress, £55, Oasis ‘One of the few consolations of growing older is that you have far more self-confidence than when you were young,’ the star continued. ‘There’s something liberating about not caring what the world thinks of you; these days there are so many people waiting to take offence that it could drive you crazy.’ She also named her style icon as revered actress Helen Mirren ‘for her elegance’, although she added: ‘and RuPaul for sheer magnificence.’ Lorraine, we think you manage to channel both effortlessly!
