YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Interiors Aldi’ s clever ottoman ‘ bed in a box’ is ideal for small rooms By You Magazine - April 19, 2021 Aldi’s Specialbuys aisle is always something to get excited about. From its luxe-looking homeware to sellout garden furniture range, there’s bound to be a bargain that catches your eye. Following on from the success of its current bedroom furniture, Aldi has released a new ottoman ‘bed in a box’ that’s ideal for smaller spaces. Aldi Hidden within an upholstered ottoman is a double mattress (186 x 120 x 6cm) that could comfortably sleep two people. When you don’t need it as a bed, it neatly folds back into a storage box, which could alternatively be used as a seat or footstool. The grey ottoman is simple enough not to clash with any bedroom decor but stylish enough to keep the room looking fresh and chic. And of course, the bed can be spruced up with your own duvet covers and cushions. As ever with Aldi, the Kirkton ‘bed in a box’ is priced at an affordable £229.99 and only available to buy online. In comparison to other brands selling styles like this one, Aldi’s version falls on the cheaper end of the scale. Kirkton House Bed In A Box, £229.99, Aldi Aldi adds that the box is easy to assemble and fits conveniently into smaller spaces. The clever space-saving piece of furniture is made of plywood, pinewood, iron frame and foam. If you’ve ever tried to buy a bargain product from Aldi’s Specialbuys, you’ll understand the struggle when it sells out in a flash. Remember how quickly those sellout scalloped beds and chairs went?
