Unsurprisingly then, sales of Waitrose’s own home baking range have also soared and now the supermarket has launched an exciting new range of Waitrose baking kits and mixes, cupcake cases and decorations. Waitrose Priced at £2.50, you can choose from Vanilla Sponge, Chocolate Cake or Carrot Cake and no one will be any the wiser you didn’t make it from scratch. Alternatively, opt for Waitrose’s new Dark Choc Chunk Brownie Mix. Ready in just 25 minutes, they make a delicious edible gift or sweet treat for garden gatherings. And who could forget about the supermarket’s bright new Bumblebee & Sunflower Biscuit Kit. Just £2.25, the baking kit comes complete with cutters and icing pens and makes six beautifully bright biscuits. All you need to add is butter, simples. Waitrose Got the basics down but looking for some help in the decorating department? Waitrose has also launched a whole new array of decorations so that you can turn your cakes and traybakes into show-stoppers. From Gold and Silver Sprinkles and Rainbow Stars to add sparkle to special occasions, to Micro Marshmallows for mixing into rocky road traybakes, the new range has got those final touches covered.
