YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Food Asda’ s new pink gin cheesecake might just be the ultimate summer dessert By You Magazine - July 23, 2020 We’re raising a glass – or should that be fork? – to the team at Asda today, because we’ve just discovered that they’ve launched a new pink gin cheesecake that will make all of summer picnics and garden parties even sweeter. The new dessert is described as sweet and creamy, with a biscuit base, a pink gin flavour cheesecake topping and a decadent swirl of raspberry sauce atop each slice. Served with a glass of pink gin (what else) and tonic, we predict that it’ll make a totally perfect ending to any al fresco meal. Asda An Asda spokesperson said of the novel creation: ‘We know our customers love a hybrid product and our new Pink Gin Cheesecake might just be the ultimate combination they’ve been waiting for! With the perfect marriage of flavours, these summery cheesecake slices are a simple way to add a dash of fun to any picnic or dessert.’ The pink gin cheesecake is available in stores now, priced at £2 for a pack of two – but it’s not the only gin-themed delight you’ll find on the shelves in your local branch. Pink Gin Flavour Cheesecake Slices, £2 for a pack of two, Asda If you’re really going all out for a birthday or other celebration, might we draw your attention to the rather spectacular pink gin cake that Asda unveiled earlier this year. The four-tiered madeira sponge masterpiece is drizzled with a pink gin-flavoured sugar soak, filled with raspberry jam and then coated in smooth pink vanilla icing, topped off with novelty miniature gin bottles that are edible to boot. Asda The cake serves 18, while the cheesecake is more of a treat for a smaller gathering – but all this means is no matter how many you’re feeding, you can add a pink tipple twist that everyone will love. Cheers to that!
