But now the supermarkets are making their mark, with M&S and Morrisons both launching meal kit boxes that you can cook and enjoy at home. These releases reflect the growing trend for staying in and preparing fresh, healthy meals at home – not only borne from necessity during the restaurant closures of the pandemic, but also thanks to the value sitting around the table and enjoying food together can have on our households. They’re also remarkably budget friendly, particularly when you consider the packages are delivered to your front door with every ingredient measured and weighed out, making whipping up a midweek supper easier than ever. All of the pork and chicken supplied is 100 per cent British, while fruit and veg are super fresh and reliably tasty.
