Kellogg’s That’s right, Kellogg’s, the British cereal giant, has teamed up with peanut butter manufacturer Duerr’s to create a unique-tasting crunchy PB packed with honey roasted nuts for a delicious twist on the classic spread. While the peanut butter is extra smooth, the addition of irresistible honey roasted peanuts brings an unexpected sweet twist to the jar of deliciousness. As one of the nation’s favourite cereals – one in four UK households has at least one box of Crunchy Nut in their cupboards at all times – and peanut butter having contentiously overtaken jam in the popularity stakes, these new jars of goodness are the ultimate combo for so many of us. Kellogg’s There aren’t many Brits who can resist the idea of a bowlful of Crunchy Nut in the morning, but for those who equally love a slice of toast smothered in PB to fuel their day, this is the ultimate hybrid that will satisfy all your breakfasting needs. And why stop there? Crunchy Nut peanut butter is just as tasty as a snack throughout the day – spread on a bagel, paired with a banana or (our personal favourite) simply straight out of the jar with a spoon. Or, why not use it to make those five-ingredient peanut butter cookies that have been all over the internet during lockdown? Kellogg’s Kate Stokes, senior brand manager at Kellogg’s UK said: ‘Since launching in 1980, the popularity of Crunchy Nut has grown and grown and it is regularly hailed as the UK’s favourite cereal. Knowing its popularity, we wanted to explore a new avenue and it’s been great to work with Duerr’s to bring the UK Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter. We hope that all of the Crunchy Nut fans out there are as excited as we are.’ Sally Addenbrook, brand marketing manager at Duerr’s said: ‘We’re hugely excited to be working with Kellogg’s to create this truly delicious peanut butter. We’ve effectively taken the iconic taste and much-loved crunch of Crunchy Nut and packed it into a jar of peanut butter. That’s as much as we are willing to say – the rest is top secret. We hope Crunchy Nut and peanut butter lovers enjoy tucking into this moreish snack packed with peanuts.’ It’s fair to say we think we will. Jars of Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter are £2.50 each and are available in Sainsbury’s stores now.
