Luckily, Lidl has just launched the perfect tipples for the season – delicious pre-mixed cocktails. Lidl Let’s be honest, while we all love indulging in a nice cocktail, making it ourselves can be a bit of a mission and it is more than safe to say not all of us are blessed with the talents of a mixologist. That’s why the lovely people at Lidl have decided to do all the hard work for us and sell pre-mixed bottles of Espresso Martini and Negroni so we can enjoy the tasty tipples without all the effort of making them from scratch, or spending a fortune at a swanky cocktail bar. The gin-based ready to drink Negroni has been launched to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the popular classic cocktail. Lidl recommends serving the Negroni over cubed ice with a swirl of orange rind for a zesty effect that will refresh your guests. Getty Images Meanwhile the Espresso Martini is described as a ‘perfect combination of vodka and coffee flavours’ and it’s no secret that the drink is a firm cocktail favourite. If you want to go all out, serve it shaken, strained and chilled, topped with whole coffee beans for the full Italian experience. Each cocktail comes in a chic 500ml bottle with an art deco design and we’ll be the first to admit that good packaging is a big factor when purchasing our favourite beverages. What’s more? Each bottle – is priced at just £9.99, which if you think about it, is the same price as (if not less than) one cocktail in most bars – especially if you live in a big city.
