YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty This new fake tan keeps selling out – and we can see why By You Magazine - March 19, 2019 Finding the perfect fake tan is really rather difficult, when you take everything into account. From streak-free colour to ease of application and a pleasant smell, there are a number of things to consider when looking for your perfect formula – and St. Tropez’s latest fake tan appears to be ticking off many of these boxes. So much so, that the new St. Tropez Purity Bronzing Water Gel has sold out twice so far. According to Woman & Home, the tan, which is a unique water gel formula, has now sold out twice on boots.co.uk and Lookfantastic, after coming back into stock and flying off the shelves immediately by those desperate to try it. St. Tropez Purity Bronzing Water, £28, Boots So why is it proving so popular? Well, not only does the formulation lack any kind of ‘biscuit’ odour (instead, it has a tropical smell), it also boasts a uniquely hydrating texture, which is full of hyaluronic acid. Tan can sometimes leave skin feeling a little dry, so it’s not surprising that a formula targeted towards hydration is proving so popular. The product notably does not have a guide colour, meaning it could potentially be difficult to see where product has been applied. However, if you use it with a mitt, it should be fairly easy to avoid any kind of streak-age. Getty Perhaps the best bit for the time-strapped among us is that you only need to leave the product on for three hours. While most tanning mousses, gels or creams require an overnight wear (which is always a nightmare for bedding), this can be applied when you get back in from work in the evening, and removed right before bedtime. Convenient? Absolutely. With all this in mind, it’s advisable to get in there quick if you want to buy a bottle of tan before it sells out again. It is currently in stock at boots.co.uk, and costs £28 per bottle.
