From the Holly Willoughby-approved ‘it’ coat to Lisa Faulkner’s chic yet practical jumpsuit, celebrities and fashion insiders alike are loving the new-season offering from the high street giant. And now, Instagrammers are going wild for one particular dress from the new collection. The dress is a floral midi number with long cuffed sleeves and a high neckline, perfect for looking dressed up while staying warm as the temperature cools down. With front pleat detailing, a cinched in waist and a skirt that flares out just the right amount, this is an extremely flattering number; bright florals set against a dark background finish off the dress. M&S describe is as a ‘midaxi’ dress, which means the hemline is halfway between a midi and a maxi length so should fall just above the ankle, however where it actually lands obviously depends on your height. But while petite women might get more of a maxi vibe and tall girls more of a midi, it’s a beautiful dress either way. M&S Per Una Floral High Neck Midaxi Waisted Dress, £55, Marks & Spencer When ‘M&S Insider’ Sam Briones aka @marksandspencer_sam posted a picture to Instagram of herself wearing the M&S floral dress, it quickly racked up over 400 likes and 67 comments (and counting), including: ‘This is a beautiful dress! X x’, ‘LOVE this – just ordered it online’ and ‘This is lovely & in some ways has a vintage look about it’. And when M&S reposted the picture to their account, the love kept on coming, garnering nearly 10,000 likes and hundreds of comments from shoppers eager to purchase the dress from themselves. M&S Meanwhile, the reviews on the M&S website are similarly enthusiastic: ‘I bought this today in store having seen the poster. It’s a really beautiful dress that looks more expensive on than on the hanger. Definitely one for taller customers as it is fairly long and contains quite a lot of material. Very versatile and could be dressed up or down and worn with heels, boots or trainers’ said one happy shopper.
