YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Fashion Influencers are loving this chic and versatile Mango dress By Kanika Banwait - May 26, 2022 We’ve become even more conscious of what we spend our money on as of late, thanks to the cost of living rise and climate crisis. Taking into consideration the price of what we buy, as well as the environmental impact, we find ourselves trying to buy less but buy better – quality over quantity. So when we’re scrolling through social media and we spot a stylish high street piece that’s purse-friendly and versatile, we pay attention. The latest buy that’s caught our eye comes from Mango – a simple yet chic dress with a seal of approval from major fashion influencers like Monikh Dale and Camille Charriere. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Monikh (@monikh) The medium brown Mango dress features a halter neckline, thin straps and a racerback. Although described as ‘flowy’, the slim-fit is serving 90s style, which is a big trend at the moment. Plus, it’s been produced using sustainable fibres or processes, reducing its environmental impact. We particularly love how this dress really could be worn all year round. In spring and summer, it works as a casual daytime outfit paired with white trainers, a wicker bag, flat platform sandals or espadrilles, for example. In the evening, luxe up the look with a heeled sandal and pearl jewellery. If it’s a tad chilly, you could throw an oversized blazer over your shoulders. We think it would go well under a trench coat, too. And if the brown dress doesn’t take your fancy, you’ll be pleased to know it also comes in black. Flowy modal dress, £49.99, Mango So for just under £50, you’re buying one dress that could be made into a variety of different looks with what you’ve already got in your wardrobe. If you needed an excuse to treat yourself to something new, this is it. Who doesn’t love to make their money go further?
