Prince Harry’s nuptials to American actress Meghan Markle attracted an audience of almost 18 million viewers back in April, and now we’re set to do it all over again when the Queen’s granddaughter Princess Eugenie ties the knot with long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank this October. If you want to get a little closer to the celebrations this time around, you’re in luck. A statement from the Royal Family has revealed that the happy couple ‘are delighted to announce an opportunity for 1,200 people from across the United Kingdom to be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to share the experience of their special day’ – and all you have to do to be in with a chance is fill in a short application form. View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Royal Family (@theroyalfamily) Eugenie’s engagement to Jack was announced back in January, with a short statement which read: ‘The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr. Jack Brooksbank. Her Royal Highness and Mr. Brooksbank became engagement in Nicaragua earlier this month. The wedding will take place in the Autumn of 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.’ At the time, Eugenie’s mother Sarah the Duchess of York said of the pair: ‘A total embrace of goodness and joy… Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony.’ If you’re lucky enough to win a place to see Eugenie and Jack on their big day, you’ll view the arrival of the congregation and Members of the Royal Family, listen to a live broadcast of the Marriage Service and watch as the Bride and Groom depart St George’s Chapel at the end of the ceremony – all while soaking up the incredible atmosphere of such a momentous occasion. Applications may only be submitted between 18th July and 8th August 2018, and you’ll be notified if you’ve been successful by 10th September – which gives you plenty of time to shop for the perfect wedding guest outfit.
