Thanks to the budget German retailer’s eclectic mix of food, homeware, beauty products and more, you never know which Special Buys you’ll find on the shelves when you pay the supermarket a visit. But while one hand giveth, the other hand taketh away, as the heavy rotation of goods means as well as amazing new products being introduced each week, there are also many that have fallen out of circulation, and are no longer available to buy. And now a fan group on social media has collated a nostalgic list of all of the discontinued Aldi products they’ve loved and lost over the years. Alamy Stock Photo Mirror.co.uk reports that members of The Alternative Aldi Shoppers UK Facebook page have compiled a list of the products they wish would return to the shelves of their local stores, and it’s a walk down memory for lane for any regular Aldi customer. Unsurprisingly, several items from the Lacura skincare and make-up lines were missed the most, including dry shampoo, eye gel and facial oil. Other seasonal deals, such as the Big Daddy Steak – a Father’s Day offer – were also lamented by the commenters.
