However, in reality, our fashion fallback has always, and will always be much more practical dark colours – so this year we’ve decided we’re reclaiming black as a summer colour. And shoppers at high street hero M&S have had the same idea. Their cap sleeve midi dress has been flying off the shelves, so much so that the ‘fast selling item!’ label has already appeared next to the frock’s online listing.
